Privacy policy

What we collect

gelatincalculator.com collects no personal data. You do not need an account to use the calculator. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, or any form of client-side tracking. The entire site is static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript served from a content delivery network — nothing you type into the calculator is sent anywhere. Inputs stay in your browser and are discarded when you close the tab.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) records standard HTTP request logs that include IP address, user agent, and the page requested. These logs are retained per Cloudflare's standard policies and are used only for abuse prevention and operational troubleshooting. We do not run any additional analytics on top of these logs.

Advertising (future)

This site does not currently display advertisements. In the future we may add Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs. If and when that happens, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings . This section will be updated with specific details when AdSense is enabled; until then, no advertising cookies are set by this site.

Third parties

The site loads the Google Fonts typeface "DM Serif Display" and "Inter" from fonts.googleapis.com. Google's own privacy policy applies to that font request. Aside from Google Fonts and the hosting CDN, no other third-party services are called from our pages.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience cooking reference and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
